Barry Curator of Glass

The Chrysler Museum of Art in Norfolk, Virginia seeks a strong leader and scholar to serve as the Carolyn and Richard Barry Curator of Glass. This person will lead a program of relevant and engaging exhibitions and collection installations, and curate the internationally renowned collection of over 10,000 pieces of glass from ancient Egypt to today. The opportunity to collaborate with the Perry Glass Studio is an important part of the role of the Barry Curator of Glass. The Barry Curator will engage broadly with the Hampton Roads community and both the national and the international glass arts scene to activate the collection and raise its profile. Corporate and Foundation Relations Manager

The Corporate and Foundation Relations Manager oversees the Museum’s corporate and foundation fundraising efforts while successfully building relationships and strategic partnerships. This position supports the Development Department’s efforts to acquire adequate financial support for Museum operations, exhibitions, and special projects from Corporate and Foundation Donors.
