Part-time Gallery Host

The Chrysler Museum of Art is looking for individuals to join our team as part time Gallery Hosts in a role that blends security, service, and education. Gallery Hosts make regular rounds through the museum while greeting visitors, answering questions, enforcing rules, and engaging visitors in conversations about art. Successful candidates will be passionate about connecting people with art. A background in art history is a plus, but not required. Schedules average 15 hours per week. Weekend hours are required. Summer Internships

The Chrysler Museum of Art is proud to offer college students and recent college graduates the opportunity to explore museum work through special projects designed by members of the Chrysler staff. Internships help familiarize students with career opportunities in the museum field by giving them a variety of departments to choose from. The Museum currently offers an eight-week summer internship program that begins June 5. Details

Assistant to the Director

The Chrysler Museum of Art is looking for a qualified professional to join our team as an Assistant to the Director. The Assistant to the Director provides high-level administrative support to the Museum’s Director by performing clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls and scheduling meetings for the Director, executive team, and the Board of Trustees. Event Supervisor (Part-time)

The Chrysler Museum of Art is looking for individuals to join our team as part-time Event Supervisors. In this role, qualified individuals facilitate the logistics of rental and other Museum events and serve as liaisons between lessee and event personnel.
