Ewer of blown-molded glass, matte finished with acid and with enamel and gilt decoration. Royal Flemish design. Ewer form with small tan painted and heavy floral scroll gilding on handle. Narrow straight mauve neck with gilt leaf design. Shoulder is mauve and blue with two rows of gilt circles enclosing a quatrefoil gilt design. The rest of the body is divided by gilt into eight long keyhole-like gilt segments enameled tan and mauve. Over this on each side is a heavy gilt chrysanthemum spray. Polished pontil.
