SUMMARY:Glass Studio Guest Artist Demo and Talk
DESCRIPTION:One of the founding fathers of the Studio Glass Movement, Paul Marioni, is known for his pioneering innovations in glass blowing as well as his dreamlike creations that combine humanity and history with hubris and humor.
The Seattle-based artist (and father of glassblower Dante Marioni) presents a special evening demonstration and discussion in our Glass Studio, courtesy of the Peninsula Glass Guild.
 Cost: Free. Seating is limited.
For more information on Marioni's visit, see www.peninsulaglassguild.org or contact Dan Smith at treasurer@peninsulaglassguild.org.
For more information on Marioni personally, here's a meet the artist YouTube video produced by the Museum of Glass in Tacoma, WA. Marioni has donated roughly 400 works, including 70 of his own, to that institution.
