DESCRIPTION:We offer a free glass art demo every day at noon. On the calendar today for classes or special events: &bull; One-Day Stained Glass Workshop: Small Window On the fourth Saturday of every month we offer an introductory workshop on the techniques that made Tiffany famous. Imagine the beauty of light glimmering through your own stained glass creation&mdash;and that you did it all in a day! You can check availability here. From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday Jan. 26, Feb. 23, March 23 and April 27. ($90 Members, $150 all others.) &bull; Two-Day Workshop: Glass: An Amorphous Solid This two-day workshop is a great opportunity to work your way up the skill-advancement ladder, and it will be offered three times before summer. All sessions run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, and you can sign up for the weekend of Jan. 26-27, Feb. 23-24, or April 27-28. In this workshop, you will create a series of clear solid and hollow forms&mdash;paperweights, spheres, and cylinders&mdash;and through each form, you'll get familiar with basic glassblowing techniques. ($200 Members, $250 all others). &bull; Two-Weekend Workshop: A Survey of Four Glass Processes In two Saturdays you can learn four different glass techniques&mdash;glassblowing, flameworking, fusing and coldworking. From creative paperweights to carefully constructed tiles, from beautiful colored or clear beads to elegantly engraved creations, here's a fun way to learn the possibilities of glass.
