DESCRIPTION:R. Luke DuBois created the political series Hindsight is Always 20/20 in 2008.
 Using a computer algorithm, he analyzed the repetition of key words in presidential State of the Union addresses. He then arranged the most frequently used words into the form of a Snellen eye chart, used by optometrists to evaluate clarity of vision.
 DuBois’ letterpress prints reveal a sharp picture of what was on the mind of each leader, from George Washington to George W. Bush, as he spoke to the American people. They also chronicle the issues and ideas that have challenged and inspired our country.
 The Chrysler’s Selden Arcade gallery is open Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m.–5 p.m., and Sunday, 1–5 p.m.
