Flower Container with Greenbrier Motif, ca. 1901
Enameled bronze and copper

The design for this flower container was based on a watercolor made by Julia Munson, one of the talented women designers working at Tiffany Studios. Nature was a prominent inspiration for artists at the Tiffany Studios, and this enameled container is decorated with the greenbrier vine. These containers were considered an object of luxury and Tiffany Studios made this design in both enameled and ceramic versions.
