Chrysler Museum of Art

United States Civics

This selection of images from the Permanent Collection of the Chrysler has been designed around Virginia’s Standards of Learning for Civics and Economics.  These standards examine the political, governmental, and economic systems in the United States and the role of citizens in those systems.  The artworks and the discussion questions accompanying them focus particularly on the guiding principles of the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights.  For links to primary source documents related to the study of United States Civics, click on the following link: WebQuest
