We offer a free glass art demo every day at noon.

On the calendar today for classes or special events:

• Afterschool Survey of Glassmaking Processes
NEW! Today we begin a three-week, three-class survey course in the fundamental processes of glass art. On three consecutive Thursdays (Jan. 10, 17 and 24) from 3:30 to 6 p.m., students will have a chance to try glassblowing, flameworking, fusing and image transfer. Space is limited so book early.. ($100 Members, $150 all others.)

• Basic Vessels: Three-Week, Three-Evening Course
Learn your way around the Glass Studio by learning to create some of its most common forms: vessels. Create and perfect small blown objects such as cups, bowls, and glasses using tools, gravity, heat, and determination. From 6-9 p.m. on Thursdays (January 10, 17 and 24). Open to complete beginners but also suitable for people who have taken an introductory course and are looking for more practice. You can sign up online here.. ($150 Members, $175 all others.)
