• Lucky Shamrock
Take home the luck of the Irish with your very own cast-glass shamrock. Make an impression in damp sand and sprinkle in your favorite color, then watch our Studio Team pour in some molten glass. You’ll soon have a new lucky charm, just in time for St. Patrick's Day! We have two sessions today, starting at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Check availability and signup online here. • One-Day Workshop: Creative Candlesticks
Today from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., you can let your creative light shine by converting common glass objects into candlesticks. Try your hand at cutting, grinding, engraving, assembling and gluing glass in our cold shop. Whether your form is funky, elaborate, or delicate, follow your imagination to design your dream decor. • Two-Day Workshop: Glass: Readymade Reincarnation
In this two-day workshop you will repurpose a common beer bottle into something uncommon and uniquely yours. Get a feel for the tools of the hot shop, then apply age-old techniques to transform an existing object that’s been preheated in the kiln. With a little imagination and lots of trips to the glory hole, reshape your piece into its next life, achieving glassmaking nirvana without using any new glass.
