• One-Day Workshop: Glass Fusing (Fused Plate)
From design to cutting, from layout to firing in the kiln, our Studio staff will give you an overview of the fusing process and guide you through the creation of your own work of art. The workshop runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and you can sign up online here. This workshop is also offered on Saturday, April 13. ($90 Members, $115 all others.)

• Two-Hour Class: Introduction to Flameworking
From 2-4 p.m. today, come get a taste of an addicting form of glass art—the molding of glass with a torch. In introductory classes you make beads as a way to learn the craft. You can then advance your skills by taking atwo-night course that moves you from beads to figures (offered April 3 and 10). If you do well at that, you can then consider a two-day workshop called Sculpting on the Torch that will be offered April 20-21. To sign up for this first step, click here. • INTERMEDIATE Two-Day Workshop: Amorphous Solid 2
From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, March 9-10.
Take the next step by practicing a new series of forms, including bowls and rondells. Through each form, get familiar with more challenging techniques such as puntying, working with a partner, and adding colored accents to your work.
