5:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Our August Third Thursday after-hours event will feature glass art as performance art at the Glass Studio and an up-and-coming local artist in Huber Court.
At the Glass Studio, Bryan Wilson will be the lead artist in a performance that's a mix of Arthurian legend and Indiana Jones, as he will be trying to channel the Holy Grail in blown glass. The musical guest will be a Renaissance troubadour, John Durant.
Doors to the Glass Studio open at 7 p.m., and since the Studio is intimately sized and generally fills to capacity, plan on getting in line before the doors open.
Third Thursdays are free for Museum Members, $5 for all others, and one admission covers both venues.
The admission charge kicks in at 5 p.m. at the main building, the cash bar opens at 5:30 p.m., and Vath will play his first set around 6:30 p.m. Wisteria, our cafe, will be open for garden-style dining until 10 p.m., and there will be a cash bar at both venues.
In the main building, every Third Thursday includes an adult scavenger hunt where you can win a free drink ticket, and there's also a special talk and tour. This time around the tour will focus on our glass collection.Import to Calendar Share
