Norfolk Society of Arts Lecture Series
Sep 24, 2014
10:30 AM - 12:00 PM
The Norfolk Society of Arts lecture series returns to the Chrysler Museum for its 2014-15 season, and leading off is Fred Child, the host of NPR's Performance Today.
Child's topic will be Driving People to Music and Museums, and it's in honor of William Hennessey, who will soon retire after 17 years as museum director.
The lecture will begin at 11 a.m. in the Museum's Kaufman Theatre, but NSA members will be gathering in Huber Court for coffee at 10:30 a.m. For information on NSA membership, which is open to all Museum Members, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The NSA lectures are free and open to the public, with priority seating for NSA members.
The Norfolk Society of Arts promotes and enhances the cultural life of the South Hampton Roads community through lectures, special events, and financial support to the Chrysler Museum of Art. For a complete list of upcoming speakers, click here.Import to Calendar Share
