Since its formation in 2005, this ensemble has traveled world-wide and has collaborated with some of the top names in music, including Pinchas Zukerman, Itzhak Perlman, David Finckel, Leon Fleischer, Wu Han, Lynn Harrell, Cho Liang Lin, and Joshua Bell. A frequent collaborator on their tours has been guitarist Jason Vieaux.

For an example of their virtuosity, here's a YouTube clip of an Escher Trio performance for the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center in New York City.

Doors open for a reception at 6:30 p.m., WHRO's Dwight Davis presents opening remarks at 7 p.m. and the concert begins at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are $25 for Museum Members ($30 for all others) and are available at the door or at www.feldmanchambermusic.org.

And finally, the answer to your question is yes. The group took its name from Dutch graphic artist M.C. Escher. They said they were inspired by how Escher would beautifully mold individual components into a unified whole.
