As part of the opening weekend for The Paris of Toulouse-Lautrec: Prints and Posters from The Museum of Modern Art join us for an expert-guided tour.
Come hear how these posters were the social media sensations of their day, and how artists such as Henri Toulouse-Lautrec found inspiration in a decorating fad of the time—Japanese woodblock prints. It was a beautiful era ("belle epoque") of French history, and it is richly captured here.
Admission is free. The tour begins at the Welcome Desk in Huber Court.
