Enjoy a fantastic evening of cocktails, an elegant dinner, and a preview of the exhibition. Additionally, many extraordinary items will be up for bid during the benefit auction, including a Rolls Royce Silver Cloud.

For Art's Sake pulls out all the stops for a "Ferrari Party" in celebration of La Bella Macchina. The party will be driven by live music courtesy of Dynomohum in Huber Court and Italian-inspired hors d'oeuvres and cocktails. Do not miss this extreme event for an extreme exhibition. Join Steve Barney for a special day of Ferrari programming! Mr. Barney will give a gallery chat entitled "The Art and Science of Ferrari Styling" in the Ferrari galleries, with an evening follow-up presentation "Enzo Ferrari and the Mille Miglia: A Personal Perspective" in the Diamonstein Education Workshop. Masterpiece and VIP Evening

During this special evening, Members of the Museum's Masterpiece Society as exhibition sponsors, and upper level Museum Members will have the opportunity to see some of the automotive world's rarest masterpieces up close. Guests will enjoy a special evening, highlighted by lecture/discussion in the galleries with the exhibition's guest curator and a lender to the exhbition. Please call 664-6200 for more information.

Stop by the Chrysler to experience a full range of activities for visitors of all ages including an Amusitron Ferrari driving simulator, remote-control Ferrari racing, a special tour of the exhibition and tours of the Museum's collections, a scavenger hunt, vintage cars on view, Q&A with John Sheally II, live music by Wide Alive, screenings of racing films, and refreshments. Top Guns and Other Machine Lovers: Military Appreciation Day

In a show of appreciation for local members of the U.S. Armed Forces, the Museum has teamed up with the USO of Hampton Roads to present Military Appreciation Day. Show support for our nation's military by joining us for patriotic entertainment, a specialty tour of the exhibition, Ferrari films, mini-Ferrari racing on our remote control track, a hands-on art project for the kids, a live satellite feed of the Indianapolis 500, and much more! Cost: Free Museum and exhibition admission for retired and active duty military and their dependants with valid military I.D. Free Museum Admission for Members; $7 for non-members; $5 for Ferrari exhibition.

Showings of films about the history of Ferrari and involving Ferrari automobiles: Enzo Ferrari: The Man, the Legend, Thomas Crown Affair (with 275 GTB NART Spyder), La Passione (1961 race with 156 Formula 1), and Grand Prix (with Adolfo Celli as Enzo Ferrari).
