Trailblazer Sought for 4Front Residency
Calling all glass artists! The Chrysler Museum of Art and The Robert M. Minkoff Foundation are looking for a trailblazer to fill an artist residency in January, 2014.
We're looking for:
• A current resume
• A contemporary art project proposal
with glass as a key element
• Supporting documentation and artist statement
• Ten images of completed artworks

The application deadline is Sept. 1, 2013.
The collaboration is called 4Front: Innovation From All Angles, and we are currently seeking proposals for a contemporary art project using glass that is groundbreaking in one or more of the following areas: technique, concept, energy efficiency, and media fluency (mixed media or performance).
The residency is designed for emerging artists with some glass experience, and will take place at our Glass Studio Jan. 8-22, 2014. For more information, including the application process and schedule, click here.
The Robert M. Minkoff Foundation is focused on furthering the use of glass in the field of contemporary art and advancing technical knowledge about glass art process. The foundation invests not only in residencies and educational projects, but in disseminating important new developments, particularly in the areas of energy-efficient furnace design and glassmaking process.
