Learning and Programs

Programs at the Chrysler

Educational outreach is a key component of the Chrysler's mission to use art to delight, inspire and transform. We offer a variety of options for family education, entertainment and fun, and we host more than 10,000 tour visitors a year. More often than not, it's all free.

Art Summer Camp

Camp Chrysler

Every summer we offer your child five days of making art. Our art summer camps are an opportunity for youngsters to learn multiple techniques in painting, drawing, and sculpting. Your children will get to discuss their work with their peers and talk about what they made and why.

On the final Friday, we invite all friends and family to come to our Camp Chrysler Art Show.

Sign-up details will be listed here as we get closer to spring.

Art and Stories for Preschoolers

Tickle My Ears

Join us on the first Thursday of each month for art, fun and stories for pre-schoolers. Starting at 10:30 a.m. you and your child can enjoy storytelling time in front of a work of art. After the reading, we'll head downstairs to the Diamonstein Education Workshop for some hands-on fun!

We offer another session at 11 a.m. for groups. If you would like to bring your daycare, church group, or 8 or more toddlers, please attend the 11 a.m. session. Questions? Call Maegan Douglas, Public Programs Coordinator, at (757) 333-6221.
