Camp Chrysler: Summer Arts Camp for Kids
Act Like An Egyptian
For Kids Ages 9–13
Here's a chance for kids to spend a week this summer thinking of mummies and pharaohs, hieroglyphs and pyramids at a summer arts camp presented by Virginia Stage Company and The Chrysler Museum.
Participants will be able to use their imagination to explore ancient Egyptian culture and art. They will work with fellow campers to write an original play, and they will create masks, costumes, and props to be used in the grand finale—a stage performance for family and friends at the end of the week.
Camp meets at Christ and St. Luke’s Church, 560 W. Olney Road, Norfolk. Campers should bring their own lunches, drinks, and snacks.
Cost: $175 for Museum Members, $275 for all others, and for more information, email Hilda Andres or call her at (757) 333-6239.
