Family Focus Group: Technology in the Galleries
Exciting new developments are coming to the Chrysler and we're looking for your help. As part of a Technology in the Galleries initiative, we are asking parents to join us for a focus group.
Saturday, April 22
Sunday, April 23
In exchange for an hour or so of your time, you'll get a sneak peek at some futuristic ideas, and you'll have a chance to shape the future of the Museum.
Our first project in this field is geared towards children ages 2-10. While most of our questions will be directed towards parents, we will have activities for children as well. Snacks and refreshments will be provided, and all parents who sign up win a prize. Each session will be capped at 20 parents to maximize interaction.
In short, we're designing a gallery specifically for families that blends hands-on art activities with technology. Your input will be vital as this project moves forward.
To sign up, or ask further questions, email Education Director Anne Corso at firstname.lastname@example.org.
When emailing, please specify your preferred day and time. Slots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
POINT OF EMPHASIS: If you have friends or neighbors who aren't exactly the type to take their kids to a museum, can you bring this up with them? Our usability/interface engineers would be particularly interested in the views of a non-traditional museum audience.
