Second-Saturday Family Days
Bring the entire family for art, music, and other fun afternoon activities on the second Saturday every month. These free monthly programs at the Chrysler are made possible by the Bunny and Perry Morgan Fund.

Summer Friday Films for Children helps to fosters art appreciation to a new generation. This series includes contemporary animation and/or classic films with a hands-on activity. All films are shown on Fridays during the months of July and August at 10:30 a.m.

Tickle My Ears: Stories and Art at the Chrysler
Geared for pre-kindergarten children, this program takes place on the first Thursday of every month. Stories, songs, and surprises help our young guests appreciate art, as we focus on a different theme or gallery each month. Two sessions are offered each program date, each lasts about 35 minutes. Tickle My Ears is generously supported by Target.

Join us on the third Friday of the month as a museum educator leads an engaging gallery conversation for parents/caregivers with babies in strollers. Young children (under the age of 18 months) are welcome.

Camp Chrysler
Every summer we offer a unique camp experience for youth ages 6 to 15. Participants can draw inspiration from gallery visits, investigate different cultures, explore art techniques, and discover performing art or spoken word. Half-day sessions will engage younger children and week-long camp will appeal to older children.

Scouts
Scouts have an opportunity earn a badge and learn about art, history, and different cultures. Each program lasts two hours and includes gallery exploration with art-making activities to fulfill badge requirements. Contact Channon Dillardat (757) 333-6239 for more information.

Sleepovers at the Museum
As the lights dims and the doors close, enter into an art adventure. Each October, this fun-filled family event includes gallery exploration, discovery games, hands-on projects, a movie, an evening snack and light breakfast. This program is open to families with children ages 8 to 12.
