For Art's Sake: Young Affiliates of the Chrysler
For Art’s Sake’s popular concerts and events are the place to be seen in downtown Norfolk. This group of over 200 young professionals strives to broaden community awareness and support for the Chrysler through cultural and social events.

For Art’s Sake contributes funds raised at their events each year for special and changing exhibitions at the Chrysler Museum.

Programs and Events
Members receive free or reduced admission to:

• Warm It! at the Chrysler – Experience the winter concert series, Thursday evenings in February
• Cool It! at the Chrysler – Enjoy the summer concert series, Thursday evenings in July.
• Annual Oyster Roast - Welcome the fall with an outdoor celebration
• Outdoor Concerts – Enjoy live music and refreshments on the Museum lawn

For Art's Sake Members receive a yearly subscription to Hampton Roads Magazine.

Dues: $10 Student, $15 Individual, $25 Household - in addition to regular Museum membership dues.

Warm It! at the Chrysler
Every Thursday evening in February, 2008

Shake off the chilly darkness of February with the For Art’s Sake Warm It! Series, every Thursday night from 6 to 9 pm at the Chrysler Museum of Art. Each Thursday evening For Art’s Sake, the young affiliates group, will host a different band to warm the ears, and serve up cocktails to warm the body. While you’re here check out the photographs of Gordon Parks in the Bare Witness exhibition and warm your soul. So please join us as we shake the winter blues with good music, cocktails, and great art!

The cost of admission for Non-Members is $8, $5 for Museum Members, and for FAS Members, free!
