The growing photography collection of the Chrysler Museum of Art includes over 3,000 images depicting the entire history of photography, from calotypes and daguerreotypes to digital images.

The Photography Alliance, which took its present form in the early 1980s, supports the changing exhibitions mounted in Virginia’s only museum gallery of photography, and assists with the acquisitions of photographs for the collection.

Members are invited to attend special private events with guest photography experts and artists.

Members of the Photography Alliance are cordially invited to a cocktail reception in honor of Jean-Christian Borcart, the exceptional artist featured in our special photography exhibition, Stardust, which is on view in the Alice R. and Sol B.
