The New chrysler.org

A generous $300,000 grant from the DaimlerChrysler Corporation Fund has enabled the Chrysler Museum of Art to completely redesign its website, which was unveiled on Wednesday, September 6 in a public
presentation in the Museum’s Kaufman Theatre. Director William Hennessey and Board of Trustees Chair Dixie Wolf welcomed  DaimlerChrysler Corporation Fund’s Vice President Brian Glowiak. Mr.
Glowiak praised the new site as well as the progress made on the Chrysler’s Permanent Collection online database, which has also been developed as part of the DaimlerChrysler grant.

In addition, Mr. Glowiak announced an additional gift of $50,000 to sponsor augmented student visits to the Museum. The Chrysler’s Director of Education Scott Howe then presented a demonstration of the new website, in particular the new educational resources it provides.

Stratum, an online marketing company headquartered in downtown Norfolk, was awarded the contract earlier this year to work with Chrysler to develop the new website. The firm will continue to provide hosting and support for the site moving forward.

The new www.chrysler.org will play a key role in helping the Chrysler accomplish its ongoing mission of “bringing art and people together” in new and innovative ways.
