Old Master Paintings: Selections from the Permanent Collection
While the Museum's Early European Galleries are undergoing renovation
this winter, highlights from this impressive collection will be displayed
in Gallery 122 on the first floor off of Huber Court (formerly the Art Nouveau
Furniture Gallery), and the Waitzer Community Gallery. This special showing
of European masterpieces will enable visitors to enjoy their favorite works
of art from this area of the collections while improvements are made to
their permanent exhibition spaces.
The temporary installation, dubbed Old Master Paintings: Selections
from the Permanent Collection, will remain on view through April 2001.
The exhibition will include such masterpieces as Dossi's Learned
Man of Antiquity, Bernini's Bust
