New William Morris Acquisition

The Chrysler is pleased to announce that it has acquired William Morris's Nuba Woman II for its Permanent Collection. Completely fabricated from glass - except for its metal armature, this major life-size sculpture depicts an African woman with water gourds and glass jewelry. Imbued with a quiet dignity by the artist, Nuba Woman II from Morris's Man Adorned series is currently on show at the Chrysler as a component in the artist's ground-breaking world premiere, William Morris: Two Installations.
